      It’s not a rodent (rodents are mouse-like animals), it is actually from a totally different group of animals than rodents called Lipotyphla. They look a bit like small rodents but have a different skull and skeleton. Also, rodents tend to be more vegetarian and pygmy shrews are tiny insect-eaters. Pygmy shrews are the smallest mammals there are!
