• Question: When you find something not discovered yeeet how does that make you feal?

      It’s very very cool! My first impulse is to go back and check the data. It is rare to find something no one has worked out in my field, so I spend days and weeks re-analysing because I really need to be convinced that I’m right. Then I go HOORAY and go off writing a paper about it. I recently found out something cool about the way the mammalian brain evolves, and it got a lot of press coverage. That was great fun and made me feel like I really contributed to human knowledge.
