• Question: do u think there will ever be a lazer that could reach mars in under 5 years

      Hmm, there are two things I think you could mean here. One is will there be a laser whose light could reach Mars in less than 5 years. Light takes a lot less than 5 years to reach Mars from Earth, it only takes light 4 minutes to travel to Mars! That is because light is the fastest thing in the Universe, 299,792,458 metres per second.

      The other thing I thought you might mean would be could a laser be used to help power a spaceship to Mars in under 5 years. Although I do not know very much about space travel, I think the biggest problem is that the power needed would be really really big, much bigger than we can make now, because it would need to power the spaceship for its entire journey. I think that you would need a laser in space, but I think it is possible.
