• Question: Do wormholes exsist as a means of transportation?

      Not at the moment, except in science fiction. No people have even been to a black hole, and I don’t know if astrophysicists even know whether worm holes actually exist.

      Like Sam said, I doubt that they exist. They are a good idea though!

      The reason people think that wormholes could exist is because they are allowed according to solutions to what is known as the Einstein equation. This is the equations that tells us how matter makes gravity happen, not that I even begin to understand it it is REALLY complicated!

      I think the main problem with wormholes is that they require something that has negative mass to be stable, and there is no such thing as something with negative mass.
