Hi Yasmin, that’s a hard one! My favourite thing about science is perhaps that it represents a way of thinking that can’t be bent by people’s opinion. For example, people don’t like the fact that climate change is happening. But take one look at the numbers and you won’t be able to deny it. A lot of people also don’t like evolution because they don’t like the idea that they evolved from an ape. But if you check the fossil record, there is just no way we aren’t ape relatives!
