Question: How do you think YOU have adapted to the environment? (Or adapt to a particular environment) i.e. for some reason, my accent changes depending on the people I'm with :/

  Yes, people’s accents do change don’t they? My Dad comes from South Africa but he lost his accent decades ago and now sounds English. Lots of other aspects of people’s behaviour can adapt to the environment too. For example, if I am at a conference or lecture I might behave politely and properly. But then when I go to a football match I become a lot noisier.
