• Question: how exactly did disabilities start?

      It depends which disability. Some of them are the result of genetics, while some are the result of environmental causes such as exposure to chemicals or a lack of certain things in the diet. There is a lot of complicated detail which depends on the exact disability.

      Like Sam said, disabilites have many causes. They have been around since life was around, simply because every now and then a gene goes crazy for example.

      Like Sam said, there are many different causes. It can be amazing how much difference a small change in one gene can actually have on a person. It really shows what a delicate balance life has.
