• Question: Vera, You seem pretty keen on your work. What I would like to ask you is if you could have a break from it all and have one day to yourself, what would you do?

      I’m really lucky in that I get to enjoy my work but also get a break – I tend to take weekends off so I can see my family, which is something a lot of my colleagues don’t get to do. But If I had a day to do what I wanted to do, I’d put our daughter into childcare, then go for a lovely day- long horseride with my husband, and in the evening have a campfire with the whole family. Or go fishing. Or go sailing. Anything outdoors and active, really!
