I love Vera’s answer as it is very true but many people see Science and Art/Creativity as being the opposite ends of the scale. Most people assume that if you are good at science you are not “arty” and thaet if you are good at art you are not good at Science. Very untrue – Science and Art work perfectly side by side!

This is definitely true, and I would add that Mathematics, which most people see as being very far from Art in terms of its creativity, is actually a very creative form of human activity – a lot of imagination has to go into solving mathematical problems, as well as scientific ones – and of course into writing books, drawing paintings, and making music!
