When I discover new things we like to tell other scientists about them!

We write a paper, which is like your reports you write at the end of the experiment. It includes a lillte bit of background information about stuff that is already known about the area. Then an experimental about what you did in you experiment. Finished off by a conclusion telling people what your results mean.

This paper is then sent to a journal. Thre are lots of different types of journals for lots of different types of science. They are a bit like science newspapers. It can be very difficult to get your work published in a journal though. It goes to other scientists who get to say whether your work is good enough to be published.
